My Approach to Therapy
As a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional and Certified ADHD Specialist, I am dedicated to supporting individuals, especially teens and adults, who struggle with ADHD and executive function disorders. My approach is deeply empathetic and informed by the latest research, focusing on creating strong therapeutic relationships that foster a safe and nurturing environment. In this space, clients are encouraged to explore their unique challenges related to ADHD, such as difficulties with focus, time management, and emotional regulation, at their own pace and without fear of judgment.
I utilize a comprehensive range of therapeutic techniques tailored to enhance cognitive and emotional skills impacted by ADHD and executive function challenges. This includes strategies for improving organization, problem-solving, and stress management, which are critical for daily functioning and personal success. My goal is to help clients understand their ADHD, leverage their strengths, and develop coping mechanisms that promote independence and self-confidence.
Together, we work toward transformative change and healing, ensuring that each client feels understood and validated. By focusing on individual needs and employing a variety of evidence-based interventions, I help clients not only manage their symptoms but also thrive despite their challenges. Whether addressing school, work, or relationship issues, our therapy sessions are designed to provide actionable insights and practical tools that support clients in leading more fulfilled and balanced lives.
