Lyla Martin, MS, LMSW
As a passionate advocate for youth mental health, I specialize in addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, loss and grief, transitional life challenges, self-esteem issues, and social skills development. My therapeutic approach
integrates the interactive benefits of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and other creative treatment modalities, along with mindfulness techniques to foster emotional regulation and personal growth. I aim to explore challenges in depth, collaborating with my clients to craft personalized treatment plans focused on achieving their unique goals.
With a blend of play therapy—which offers a creative outlet for expression—and CBT, which helps reframe negative thought patterns, I tailor my methods to suit each child’s needs. Additional therapeutic tools include art, music, drama, and writing, enhancing our ability to navigate and manage emotional and behavioral growth.
I am committed to guiding my clients toward building resilience and self-confidence, helping them navigate the complexities of life with compassion and understanding. Let’s work together to empower your child to face their challenges and embrace their strengths.
