Micah Roland, MSW
I specialize in working with adults—both men and women—as well as teens, helping clients navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, sports-related pressures, life transitions, and complex family dynamics, including the effects of parental divorce.
In therapy, I focus on creating a comfortable and supportive space where you can feel understood and valued. In our initial sessions, we’ll spend time building rapport and exploring what makes you unique—your interests, passions, and values. Together, we’ll tailor our work to meet your needs, balancing immediate concerns with a focus on long-term growth.
Using a strengths-based approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I incorporate tools like mindfulness, breath work, and practical strategies to foster self-awareness, resilience, and emotional well-being. We’ll work to understand how your thoughts influence emotions and actions, empowering you to reframe challenges and approach them with clarity and confidence.
For teens, I provide a relatable and supportive environment to address the unique pressures they face, such as academic or athletic demands, identity exploration, and navigating relationships. I help them build emotional intelligence and practical tools for coping and growth.
My goal is to empower clients—teens and adults alike—to navigate life’s challenges, prioritize their well-being, and embrace opportunities for growth. Fluent in Spanish and English, I bring a multicultural perspective to my work, ensuring therapy is accessible and meaningful for individuals from diverse backgrounds. I look forward to helping you explore, grow, and achieve your goals.
