My Approach to Therapy
As a compassionate and dedicated therapist, I believe in creating a warm and supportive environment that encourages personal growth and healing. By taking a person-centered approach, I strive to understand your individual needs and meet you where you are in your therapeutic journey. Together, we can explore your emotions and experiences, opening new doors to self-expression, emotional well-being, and personal development. My goal is to provide a safe space for you to be your most authentic self, free from judgment, and grow into the person you aspire to be.
Drawing from a range of therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, and mindfulness-based practices, I tailor my approach to best support your unique needs and circumstances. This enables us to work together in a dynamic, flexible, and effective manner that promotes lasting change.
My experience includes working with teenagers, adults, couples, and families facing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, mood disturbances, PTSD, OCD, life transitions, trauma, grief/loss, and relationship obstacles. I have helped clients navigate various life stressors such as work-related stress, relationship conflicts, loss of a loved one, and fears and worries.
In addition to these areas of expertise, I also have experience working with diverse populations and am sensitive to cultural, social, and individual differences. My approach to therapy emphasizes building trust, fostering open communication, and promoting self-awareness and self-compassion. By working together, we can identify your strengths, uncover new insights, and develop practical strategies to help you overcome life's challenges and embrace a happier, more fulfilling future.
