Tehila Safren, MS, LGPC
I am a licensed clinical mental health therapist with a passion for supporting adult individuals and couples on their journeys toward healing and growth. I have extensive experience working with women and parents and am particularly passionate about maternal mental health, drawing on my background as a labor doula to provide empathetic and informed care for mothers navigating pregnancy, postpartum, and parenting challenges.
In my practice, I work with clients facing a wide range of presenting concerns, including anxiety, depression, relational issues, life transitions, stress, grief, and chronic illness. I also support those dealing with addiction, ADHD, codependency, self-esteem challenges, mood disorders, and parenting struggles. My approach is holistic, integrating emotional processing therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and somatic therapy to address the mind, body, and spirit.
I see therapy as a collaborative and transformative process. My goal is to facilitate self-understanding, connection, healing, and personal growth, helping clients reconnect with their core selves. I believe that all humans have intrinsic value and the capacity to heal and thrive. I approach my clients as whole people with unique life experiences, providing a safe space to explore those experiences, uncover underlying core issues, and create meaningful change.
Whether navigating anxiety, depression, relational conflicts, marital challenges, career struggles, or spirituality, I work to support clients in achieving balance and wellness across all areas of their lives—mentally, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. My practice also extends to specialized areas, including emotional disturbance, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), premarital counseling, sleep issues, and women’s issues.
Together, we will explore the path to greater self-awareness, deeper connections, and a life aligned with your authentic self.
